We are proud to present our first ever Shift-S3ctor Season Class Champion. Representing the NA Class presented by P&L Motorsport, Barry Malone.

Barry, who resides just outside of San Antonio Texas, has been racing all his life in both the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Corvette platforms. His 2007 C6 Z06 with HCI upgrades was built for the NA Class half mile events.

Barry attended all seven rounds thus far this year, taking home many trophies and accumulating points, for the sole purpose of winning this class. The highlight of his season was the 3 day Airstrip Attack race in Indiana “there were so many NA cars, and I was fighting each day to make the finals. Both Saturday and Sunday came down to my last run. I love the adrenaline rush making runs down the runway, going 160+ mph.”

Some other highlights of Barry’s season include the catered drivers dinner in Hondo, Texas and the Saturday Kansas Airstrip Attack Car Show.

Barry is a great representative of the NA Class, “you don’t have to spend thousands of dollars on a car to go fast and have a chance to win”.

Even though Barry has clinched first place for the season we will see him racing in Abilene because this is what he loves to do.

As the winner of the NA class Barry will be presented with a prize of $3000 and a product prize of a free race entry and front of the line pass for a race of his choice in 2024, furnished by P&L Motorsport.

Please join us for the conclusion of the 2023 Shift-S3ctor Airstrip Attack Championship in Abilene, Texas.
